Reliquary: yellow bulbul
Hardwoods, gold, glass, bent laminations, carved and painted. The making of reliquaries -- vessels for sacred objects and memorabilia -- is a craft practiced in almost every culture. My reliquaries are shield-shaped cabinets with carved and painted doors and compartmentalized interiors with a mirror.
